Umbre Lovre is a loose fitting tee with umbre striping and stained glass like polka dot detailing at the top and bottom. It’s worn off the shoulder and easily thrown over a tank for a fun, flirty look. It’s as no nonsense to wear as it is to knit, and I’m sure picking out colors will be your biggest challenge!

Tee is worked in the round from the bottom up. Stitches are held while front is finished, then picked back up for back. All colors are held and worked up the side of the tee.

Finished Size 32 (36, 40, 44, 48, 52)” bust circumference, with 6” positive ease. Tee shown in Knit Picks Comfy Sport in pinks shown in size 36″, and in Knits in Class Sport in blues show in size 40”.

Yarn Knit Picks Comfy Sport, 75% Pima Cotton, 25% Acrylic; 136yds/50g: Whisker (MC), 3 (3, 4, 4, 5, 5) skeins, Pomegranate (CC1), 2 (2, 2, 3, 3, 4) skeins, Peoney (CC2), 2 (2, 2, 3, 3, 4) skeins, and Flamingo (CC3), 2 (2, 2, 3, 3, 4) skeins.

Yarn Knit Picks Comfy Sport, 75% Pima Cotton, 25% Acrylic; 136yds/50g: Whisker (MC), 3, (3, 4, 4, 5, 5) skeins. Knits in Class Sport, 75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon; 270 yds: Emerald (CC1), 1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 2) skeins, Peacock (CC2), 1 (1, 1, 2, 2, 2) skeins, Lagoon (CC3) 1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 2) skeins.

Needles Size 5 (3.75 mm): 24” or larger circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers (m); stitch holder or scrap yarn, tapestry needle.

Gauge 22 sts and 24 rows = 4″ in St st.

In a While Crocodile: Sleeve detail is a great way to set an average knit tee apart, and In a While Crocodile has it in spades! Chose to keep the sleeve detailing simple, like shown above in the pink top knit up in Knit Picks Stroll Glimmer, or add crocheted crocodile stitch to the sleeves like shown above in the green top knit up in Dirty Water DyeWorks Lucia.
