The Sweatshop of Lover's Blog celebrates every aspect of knitting - from finding a pattern to finishing a project. I publish my own patterns, share everything on my needles, and help knitters of all skill levels get excited about knitting. Never snobby, I use creativity and ingenuity to create finished projects for less. More than anything, The Sweatshop of Lover's Blog LOVES knitting and wants to make you love it, too.

I’ve been saving this for a very special occasion. Not to disrespect ID4, naturally, but I know that there has to be people at work right now with nothing to do, and who doesn’t like fetish pictures to help pass the time?

Huh

Now, I love knitting as much as the next guy, but, really? I’m not even exactly sure what is going on here. I will applaud the ingenuity of this full body wool outfit, though. Pee flap! Imagine having to take that whole thing off when you had go to the bathroom.

… there are no hand holes, though.

… wait, I think I get it now.

…

What I don’t get, though, is the change of color for the feet. Was he worried that the white yarn would get dirty when he was walking around? Did he run out of white?

Is it strange that is the only thing I’m really concerned about?

Actually, The Sweater is Kinda Cute!

Now this dude is obviously an artist. The pants ride the fine line between comfortable wool sweatpants and creepy fetish pants. The wool boots are in a slightly darker color for anti embarrassing stain wear-ability. You can see they have been worn many times but they don’t look dirty! And, is it just me, or would you wear that sweater? I love the high cowl neck and if his hands weren’t tied behind his back I’m sure you could see the sleeve cuffs are ribbed to match.

The real winner here, though, is clearly the headpiece! He wanted an entirely different look, so he went with an extremely bulky yarn and huge needles and, forgive me if I’m wrong, but is that reverse stockinette stitch? Leaving the smooth stockinette stitch side against his face for comfort! Genius! I would never have thought of that.

And those are expertly knit yarn over eye holes.

This guy has got real talent.

True Love

I like to think that there is someone out there for everyone. No matter how ugly you are, or if you are one of those crazies who is scared of electricity, or if you smell really bad. Last summer when that like 1,200 pound dude had to get pulled down the street on a king sized bed on wheels by a truck to his wedding! Hell, even Ann Coulter has been engaged a bunch of times. So in a way it warms my heart to see this picture. Two weirdo wool fetishists, together, in the woods. Imagine them sitting at home, watching Dancing with the Stars, working on their outfits together by the fire.

Concerns:

1) No wool boots? Lame.

2) She has eye holes, he has a mouth hole. Hello, miss-communication?! That is a serious problem that needs to be worked out if this relationship is going to work.

3) Hand-holes? We all know those aren’t necessary. Though I applaud the thought put into the one row of garter stitch at the hole to keep it from rolling up. I know I hate when my sweaters roll up.

You want more? Happy 4th!
