The New York Knickerbockers were one of the first ever baseball teams, and were the first team to wear uniforms, which back then were glorified pajamas and nothing like the uniforms we see players wearing today. Somewhere along the way baseball merchandizing took off, and now female sports fans are in a world of bedazzled pink crop tanks and short shorts. The Knickerbocker Tee is a feminine play on the men’s baseball tees – still sporty, but with a pretty boat neck collar and flattering hem detail. Choose your team’s colors, or your favorite colors, and sport this cute tee everywhere.

NOTES The front and back short row shaping of the tee is worked, then sides are joined and the body of the top is worked in the round from the bottom up. Stitches are held while front is finished, then picked back up for back. Sleeves are worked in the round, then flat for raglan shaping, and seamed in. Held neckline stitches are worked for the collar.
