Dillinger Hat Pattern Relaunch!

Last April I had a hat pattern as part of the new 1 Knit 1 Chicago Kit Club, and today it’s available as a Ravelry download!

To celebrate, Dillinger Hat is on sale for only $3!
On Thursday it goes back up to $4.

With lots of color combos and styles to choose from you may need more than one!

Knitting WIPs! Hats and Caldwell Pullover

There has been a lot of sewing going on around here but every once in a while I like to remind everyone about what The Sweatshop of Love is actually all about. … knitting! I’ve got a few fun things on the needles right now for a few projects releasing later this year.

Gradients!

Gradients!

Something happening in Chicago I’m really excited about is a new kit club I’m organizing at Knit 1 – 1 Knit 1 Chicago! We’re still working on getting all of the information up on the website, and I’ll officially announce all this soon, but I had some sneak peaks so I thought I’d share!

Dillinger Sneak Peek! 1 Knit 1 Chicago

Dillinger Sneak Peek! 1 Knit 1 Chicago

I’m designing a hat that will be part of an exclusive kit available at Knit 1 and on the website (it’s actually available now if you’re feeling super excited about it!). The kit includes the pattern, a gradient set in the colorway of your choosing, and a project bag made at WORK+SHELTER! Fun right? Look for more information soon but I just had to share these pics.

Lace Explodes!

Lace Explodes!

I’ve been teasing Lace Explodes, a collection I’m putting together with Teresa Gregorio, over the past couple months and here is another tease! I’m testing one of Teresa’s designs and right now it looks like this! Crazy right? I’m using Knit Picks Hawthorne and it’s as heavenly as ever. More on this soon, too!

Caldwell Pullover Progress!

Caldwell Pullover Progress!

And my Caldwell Pullover! Last time we saw it I had just finished the body. I had been languishing on sleeve 1 for a long time, and finished it and got a start on sleeve 2 last week.

Weird Sleeve Thing

Weird Sleeve Thing

This sweater pre block is looking WEIRD! There is a super weird sleeve thing growing out of it, which I saw in the projects on Ravelry. At the time I took these pics, this weekend, I was sure they’d block out and everything would be fine.

After I took these pictures on Saturday I just sat down and knocked out my sweater!

FO!

FO!

I took this pic at Knit 1 on Monday of me wearing it! It’s so so cute right? I’ll take better non selfie-ish pictures soon, but I wanted to tease it since I already posted this on instagram. The sleeve weirdness did not block out and I actually really love it – it’s so weird! I think it’s a really cool shape. But more Caldwell soon!
