Erika Knight Vintage Wool is 100% and has that lovely soft but slightly crispy wool feel. I love this from the Blue Water Fibers site: Vintage Wool is, ‘easy to work with, it has excellent wear ability & comes in a gorgeous muted palette of colors with fashion highlights.’ Apparently I’ve chosen all of the ‘fashion highlight’ colors! There is nothing muted about the colors I received! They are bright and lively with total saturation. The double loose ply gives your knitting a very homespun feel.

Very nice on 7s!

I cast on a few stitches to get a feel for the yarn and it knits up great! I worked with 7s and the yarn knit up well and feels like a very true worsted weight. Erika Knight’s Vintage Wool would be perfect for any outerwear project, and I’d love to work a bunch of these fun colors together in a big colorwork sweater or jacket!

Erika Knight yarn can be found at all of these retailers across the US!
