So now that it’s after Christmas and all of my handmade gifts have been gifted, I can show them off in all of their glory right here!

Batman and Friends, framed and… boring!
I showed off my nephew Baby Nolan’s cross stitched batman and friends wall hanging a few weeks ago, when I had finished the cross stitching. I didn’t get a frame for it until just before Christmas, and it was severely lacking. Not at all fun, right?

Better!
So I got out my glue gun and some quilt binding that I had laying around, and built a border. It adds so much, right? Now it really looks like it belongs in a kid’s room. And Nolan loved it! As much as a 2 1/2 year old baby can love cross stitch, anyway. Win!

this might be a silly question, but what does FO stand for?!

It’s not silly! If you’ve never come across it how are you supposed to know?! It stands for Finished Object, so anything you finish making is an FO! UFO, or unfinished object, is also used sometimes. Crazy knitter speak!

I think the cross stitch is GREAT, but you’re right that the border really adds something wonderful.
