Well, I had no intention of taking a nearly 2 week sabbatical from the blog, the longest break I’ve ever taken from the blog in it’s history, but in retrospect it was pretty necessary. I went to Michigan for a week, had the Holla Knits photo shoot for the Fall Collection in Michigan, came back to Minneapolis with my family for a visit here, then immediately started packing up my apartment and moved on Friday.

Living Room!

And things are coming together in our new apartment. It would be looking a lot better if I hadn’t been glued to my computer all weekend working on the Holla Knits collection that launches Monday, and my Craftsy workshop for my Ridgewood Reversible Shawlette pattern. It’s been a little mad around here!

Dinning Room!

So our apartment! We kinda started talking about trying to move into a new place, and then BAM! We found this one and signed the lease before I really realized that moving the weekend before the Fall Holla Knits Collection launched would be a bad idea.

Kitchen!

Ringing it at twice the square footage of our previous apartment, with a big porch, on a quiet street, in a great neighborhood, in a smaller building, only a few blocks away from Lake of the Isles, closer to PT’s work, and with a parking spot, we kinda couldn’t say no.

Bedroom!

This was my first big girl move. I hired movers! Because I’m too old for this shit.

And the best part of the new apartment?

Craft Room!

I’ve got a work room. An ENTIRE ROOM for my yarn and crafts and work table and storage and ALL OF IT! I know, it’s a mess right now, but it’s going to be fantastic. I’ll take more pics when I’ve got it all organized!
