One of my favorite things about living in Minneapolis is a weekly trip to the Minneapolis Farmers Market. It’s less than a mile from our apartment, so every Sunday morning we stroll over to get breakfast and our fruit and vegetables for the week.
My heaven will be this market! Iced coffee, mini donuts, regular donuts, fish tacos, breakfast burritos, cinnamon buns as big as your head, and all the fresh produce you could ever want. It’s rows and rows of vendors from all over Minnesota and Wisconsin, and everyone working and shopping wouldn’t rather be anywhere else.
Being so close to farmland while being in a city is a bonus I’m not used to. You have to drive for hours to get to farmland from downtown Chicago, making it hard to find affordable produce in the city. So Minneapolis? Strike one in the pro column.
