Tea-Dyed 100% Wool: This is WORK+SHELTER‘s first foray into tea dying yarn, and we wanted our supporters to be the first people in on this new aspect of WORK+SHELTER. The yarn listed in our new WORK+SHELTER Etsy Shop is a one time only batch. We learned a lot from dying this yarn! And we want to use the proceeds from this first batch to make our next batches better and better. That is why these skeins are priced so low, ranging from $4 for a mini 43g skein to $12 for a big 160g skein.

WORK+SHELTER 100% Wool - Fingering Weight

Three Unique Colors: After a few experiments with Indian teas, Katie Canavan developed three lovely colors of fingering weight, 100% wool yarn. From left to right, they are Darjeeling (a warm, variegated brown), Lemon Grass (a cool, greenish brown) and Chamomile (a warm light yellow). Each was hand dyed using its namesake tea!
