This past weekend my friends Tara and Lily drove up to Allendale from Chicago to party Allendale style, which means chilling in the sun with babies and puppies.

It was so fun to sit and chill and knit outside all day. And even though Emily, Tara, and Lily had all become friends online, chatting on twitter a lot, this was the first time they met Emily!

We were very worried about Lily’s baby snatching tendencies, but I’m happy to report Ryenn is still safely with her mom.
Baby Nolan
Baby Nolan, who can’t get enough cars and trucks, was running around getting into everything, even empty soda cans. He liked all the pretty girls following him around!
Looks like you had fun, I’m sad I missed out!

Knitting and chilling in the sun with friends – always a great way to spend an afternoon! I’ll be doing that next week (if the weather permits it).
