I think I’m officially addicted to hosting knit alongs! And based on all the tweets and emails I’ve been receiving, you guys are pretty anxious to get another one under way.

Things are going to be a tiny bit different this time. Instead of working two sweaters at once like over the summer, I’m only going to have one winning KAL sweater we will all be working on. So I picked SEVEN possible sweaters, all with lots of fun interest and detailing, that we can all rock together.

Our Fall KAL will start on Monday, October 17th and run for 8 weeks. Vote like crazy! The sweater with the most votes will be our knit along sweater, so vote as many times as you want to between now and Sunday. The winning sweater and yarn options will be announced Monday, September 26th.

So enough talk! Let’s get the voting underway!

Delancey Cardigan

Alexis Winslow‘s Delacey Cardigan has been in my queue for ages. I’ve had students finish it and it’s gorgeous! And the construction is amazing. Find it on Ravelry here. Delancy Cardigan uses dk weight yarn and size 8 needles and is a $4.00 download.

Larch Cardigan

Definitely the most simple sweater in the running, Larch Cardigan by Amy Christoffers is one of those sweaters you keep coming back to because it would work with everything in your closet! Larch Cardigan uses sport weight yarn and size 4 needles and is a $7.00 Ravelry download. Find it on Ravelry here.

Roseling

As you guys know, I’m a sucker for stripes, so when Twist Collective came out with Roseling by Anne Kuo Lukito, it went directly into the queue. Be sure to click over to the ravelry project page to see all the fun vertical stripe detailing! Roseling uses dk weight yarn and size 4s and 6s and is $7.00.

Shadow

Maybe a little TOO similar to Beatnik, our winter KAL sweater, I just had to include it because of how much I LOVE that sweater! With similar cables, pockets, and a neckline to die for, Shadow by Ogla Buraya-Kefelian is our only pullover up for the vote, and a very worthy one! Shadow uses worsted weight yarn, size 7s and 8s, and is a $6.50 download. Find it on Ravelry here.

Dahlia Cardigan

Dahlia Cardigan by Heather Zoppetti was on the cover of Interweave Fall 2011 and for good reason! Look at that back lace detailing! Dahlia Cardigan uses sport weight yarn, size 5 needles, and can be found in Interweave Fall 2011. Check it out on Ravelry here.

#23 Duotone Cardigan

How cute is Duotone Cardigan by Cathy Carron?! This is a recent find for me, though it was originally featured in the fall/winter issue of Knit.1 magazine. Using worsted weight yarn and size 8 needles, Duotone Cardigan is just so cute I can’t stand it! Check it out on Ravelry here. It’s a $5.00 download.

Aidez by Cirilia Rose

Cables! Another sweater with big cabled goodness, Aidez by Cirilia Rose has an even more beautiful back, so find it on Ravelry here to check it out! With size 10 1/2 needles and bulky weight yarn, I can totally see myself wearing this sweater all winter! It’s a free download.

So there you have it! That is 7 beautiful sweaters we can all be casting on in a few short weeks!

Thanks so much for voting and I’ll be back in a week with the results!
