Today is my 27th birthday! I’m not a crazy birthday person, but I do like a good birthday cake and an excuse to eat a lot of good food, which is what I’ll be doing all day. Minneapolis is due a huge ice/sleet/freezing rain/snow storm today, and along with being new in town and not knowing a lot of people, we are staying in tonight with Carson Daily and Dick Clark for the first time since I turned 18.
Am I disappointed? Hell no. Today’s menu includes soysage pancakes, lobster, goat cheese empanadas, and, of course, birthday cake with sprinkles. We’ve got wine and champagne AND beers, and cake. Best birthday ever? It just might be.
Also adding to the fun is my birthday giveaway! I’m giving away 27 items because it’s my birthday and I can do whatever I want!
Giveaway #1: 20 Patterns!
I’m giving away 20 patterns throughout the day on twitter, so be sure you are following me on twitter for your chance to win. I’ll be asking for retweets and feedback and dropping patterns like it’s hot. Any and all patterns will be up for grabs and the winner’s choice.

Knit kit! Knit kit! Knit kit! Knit kit! I want the Hello Sailor clutch kit so bad!!!! It looks like the perfect way to ease into entrelac and then I can make the Loop tank without fear! Also, the knit kits are so stinkin’ cute!
p.s. Happy happy birthday to one badass gal! I’m glad you’re loving Minneapolis and that life is sending good things your way. I miss classes at New Wave, though.

Oh… I would have to go with the Madison Cowl kit in green. I am so cowl crazy and I love your fabric covered buttons.
You’re too right when you say that they’re so easy to make, but I would much rather just buy them from you most of the time than destroy my fingers. And you always seem to find the best fabrics!
Happy birthday and a very happy New Years!

If I were to pick something from your etsy, I’d pick the Hello Sailor necklace in cream!

Good day all! Fine website, although not every little thing is operating in the proper way! But oh well as that is certainly up to the actual owner to repair … Anyhow, what I decided to talk about is this internet site I just now discovered (human software) which states that true love is realistic with folks born on exactly the same day of the year as you, cause everyone born on exact same day are the same! This sounds like a bunch of numerological crap to my opinion, yet I looked over a number of of their demonstration material and a few of the descriptions correspond to those people that I know. I recognize that their English pronunciation could be much better, but hey, if they really have completed their analysis and have proof this potentially could completely change our world! Take a look.
