Let the amigurumi FOs continue! I’m working through everyone in my family, and next up is my youngest brother, Matthew.
Matthew is slightly less sk8er boi looking than this guy, but there is a very fine line between normal 21 year old and boy dating Avril.
The boy loves his hoodies, and this was hard! I kind of picked up stitches along his neck, increased stitches around and at the first and last stitches until it fit over his amigurumi head. Though I don’t know why you’d want to cover up that two toned hair!
The problem with this gift is that I know my brother. What 21 year old boy wants a hand made amigurumi of himself for Christmas? Probably not Matthew. Will he think it’s funny? Sure! But is he going to be wishing I bought him a Bob Dylan tshirt instead? Oh, for sure.
But two years ago he got me The Love Guru on DVD. And that was the year I knit him a really nice newsie cap with short rows and snaps and it took me longer and was more frustrating than anything I’ve ever made.
SO MATTHEWGURUMI IT IS, BUDDY! TRY AND SAY YOU DON’T LIKE IT! TRY ME!
Pattern: Basic Humanoid Amigurumi Pattern by craftster.org
Yarn: Worsted acrylic leftovers
Hook: Size G

HE IS AWESOME!
I hate knitting for my brothers. They tease me.
I really wanted to make them really nice thick motorcycle riding socks. Monogramed or something odd duck like that but that would be an undertaking and I don’t think they GET IT. they’d rather I get them BOOZE.
hehe
so I knit for thier wives or daughters.
or not.
