Tara and Cindy Knit Away!
Wednesday night we took a break from all the Holiday Present knitting we were all doing and started a project that was just a little silly. And we were all very excited for the knitting breather!
I had a free workshop for Team Knit‘s Turkey Finger Puppet pattern and it couldn’t have gone better.
I brought a bunch of turkey-like colors and we dove right in!

Sarah Rocks it Out!
Tara made a pink, gray, and sparkly white turkey and Cindy, who hasn’t knit in a few (or 14!) months got a knitting refresher.
Sarah, who has never knit with double pointed needles before, took to circular knitting like it was second nature.

Brijeet's Magic Hands
Brijeet is knitting her turkey so fast you can’t even see her hands!
It was really nice to take a night and not think about our very long list of presents to finish up before the holidays (in 5 weeks! gah!).
If you couldn’t make it to this workshop fear not! Julie of Team Knit wrote a great pattern that you are sure to be able to whip out in just a couple hours. If you have any questions with the pattern just email me at allyson@thesweatshopoflove.com and we will make sure you have a Turkey Finger Puppet to bring to Thanksgiving dinner!

Turkey Finger Puppets for Everyone!

“douche popped collar” made me choke on my tea – in a good way. Best line I’ve heard today.
And that side ribbing is lovely, a great detail and it gives subtle shaping.
