I got a little over excited about the Tigers in May. I was feeling really good, first place in the central, three or four pictures looking really good, blah blah. Here, right now, watching the Tigers give up 6 in the 3rd, including 2 walk-ins, the most frustrating thing in baseball, down 3 in the 7th, the Red Sox on their way to a sweep, I’m not feeling too good anymore.

Distraction Sock

Distraction Sock

I pulled a football last night. Looking down after a really really rough game (Tigers getting no-hit through 7, scoring 5 late to make the 10-5 loss a little more respectable) I had a good 6 inches done on my distraction sock. Usually my blinding hatred knitting is reserved for watching the Lions.

Califlour, Radish, and Carrot Pasta

Cauliflower, Radish, and Carrot Pasta

The delicious cauliflower, radish, and carrot pasta I made last night helped, too. I grated a little Parmesan on the top! Luckily we were only down 2 runs when I cooked this up, so I mostly enjoyed it.

PT Takes a Nap

PT Takes a Nap

PT has been having a rough week at work. Last night he passed out minutes after finishing dinner, making the kitties very happy. I’m glad I wasn’t too angry to see the adorableness next to me. Velma loves the camera and Pudge Rodriguez needs to be on top of everything, including Papa Tracy.

Top of the 8th, still down 3 runs. The Red Sox have the bases loaded with no outs. As my Papa says, when you get beat all you can do is pull up your pants and go home.

Tuna Sandwich = Workout Fuel

Tuna Sandwich = Workout Fuel

I ate this tuna sandwich for lunch because I was planning on running over to X Sport Fitness when this game is over. If I wasn’t waiting for a FedEx package I would leave now.

FedEx package, you ask? Stay tuned, because this package is full of fun.
